"Before Frida" - The life and Songs of AnnaFrid Lyngstad before ABBA.

Our last production at the Ice Factory before we hand it back to Teignmouth Council will be

AnnaFrid was born in the far north of Norway, four months after the end of the 2nd World War to a young Norwegian girl and a German army officer. At the age of two her mother died leaving her to be bought up by her Grandmother. She became a brilliant jazz singer, married and had two children before her 22nd birthday.

And she went on to change the face of pop music for ever.

"Before Frida" will be performed from 12th May at The Ice Factory; the cast will include:

AnnaFrid - 18+ (playing age child - mid-20's - must sing jazz)

Synni - (AnnaFrid's mum) playing age 14 - 22)

Agni (AnnaFrid's gran( 30 - 50)

Alfred (AnnaFrid's father) 20

One or two assorted males (20 - 60)

We will also need a technician for image cueing and one for lighting / sound.
