Chicks and Dogs - Clive Renton

“Chicks & Dogs”

By Clive Renton
Directed byJackie Wesley-Harkcom

Performance Dates - 2nd to 6th April

Situation comedy - The Watson family, Dad, David; big sister, Lydia and younger brother Oliver have been volunteered by their mother, Margaret, to help out at the village Charity fund raiser.

Vicar, Matthew, is very grateful for the family’s help, as is the local busybody, spinster, do-gooder, know-it-all-and-organiser-of-everything-that-happens-in-the-village, Julia Harptree.  Lydia, studying English at college, has other trials to contend with – not least, her little brother!

Mum has made a special costume for dad to wear – he doesn’t know about this yet.

This is a very funny play with humour ranging from the intellectual to the downright bawdy.
