The Canterbury Tales is a devised piece inspired by Geoffrey Chaucer’s most famous work.

 A group of pilgrims set out from London on a pilgrimage to Canterbury. To entertain themselves on the road, they decide to have a story-telling competition. Famous for the cross-section of medieval society that it depicts, the pilgrims attempt to one- up each other with what each considers to be the most entertaining story.
